This is first win for Louis C.K. on his first nomination for his comedy special Louis C.K. Oh My God.
The direction was quite special in this comedy special because of the way C.K. has a mastership of the camera C.K. has had for some time now and this is just another example of how his work is simple and allows the great comedy he performs to be front and centre while he still can have normal direction flurishes he has always had.
