True Detectice wins the titles design award for it’s unique and different opening title sequence created by Patrick Clair.
Similar to how the music of the Orange is the New Black opening titles sequence the design of the titles for True Detective is what for me helps me feel the atmosphere of the show so well. Each image shown in the sequence helps to display some heigh emotions that the show trys to show later on in it’s run and the designed seuqnce just works so well that it in no question is the best of the year.
