OUTSTANDING CINEMATOGRAPHY FOR A SERIES, MINISERIES OR MOVIE

Adam Newport-Berra for (“Honeydew”), The Bear
Daryl Hartwell for (“The Useless Hand”), Fargo
Kyle Wullschleger for (“Sitzprobe”), Only Murders in the Building
Robert Elswit for (“I A HARD MAN TO FIND”), Ripley
Sam McCurdy for (“Crimson Sky”), Shôgun

AND THE WINNER IS:

ROBERT ELSWIT FOR ("I A HARD MAN TO FIND"), RIPLEY

This is the first win and nomination for Robert Elswit.

Robert Elswit has been an accomplished film cinematographer for nearly half a century now and while he has rarely dipped into television his photography work on Ripley is worthy enough of asking the man do television more as he has shown he can film something as majestically as he does on film. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the entire Ripley series I can admit it was beautiful to behold with each passing episode. If only the series writing had matched its production elements I might've been the series biggest fan.
