LANGSTON KERMAN AS DARNELL FOR ("DAD FIGHT") IN "ABBOTT ELEMENTARY"

This is the first win and nomination for Langston Kerman. He wins for his performance as Darnell on Abbott Elementary.

Like with my guest actor winner Zack Fox last year again I couldn't help myself but award a fun guest star from Abbott Elementary. Again the show introduced another side character in Darnell played by Langston Kerman whose singular introduction in the episode "Dad Fight" was one of the funniest performances from this past television season. Kerman appeared in a later episode brought me some great joy that the show will regularly use his greatness but to focus on his first appearence his straight forwardness made me laugh so much and continued independence in his episode was so spectacular.

His awkward comedy opposite Gregory was especially great and Kerman whose name I was mostly familiar with as a great showed his great performing skills so much I hope in future seasons he gets to make regular returns like other great side Abbott Elementary characters.
