OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A DRAMA SERIES

Carrie Coon as Laurie Duffy for (“Amor Fati”) in “THE WHITE LOTUS”
Tracy Ifeachor as Dr. Heather Collins for (“1:00 P.M.”) in “THE PITT”
Dichen Lachman as Ms. Casey for (“Chikhai Bardo”) in “SEVERANCE”
Skye P. Marshall as Olympia Lawrence for (“I Was That, Too”) in “MATLOCK”
Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma for (“Welcome to the Rebellion”) in “ANDOR”
Youn Yuh-jung as Older Kim Sunja for (“Chapter Nine”) in “PACHINKO”

AND THE WINNER IS:

DICHEN LACHMAN AS MS. CASEY FOR ("CHIKHAI BARDO") IN "SEVERANCE"

This is the first win and second nomination for Dichen Lachman. She was previously nominated as part of the ensemble of Severance (2022). She wins for her performance as Ms. Casey on Severance.

Dichen Lachman's task on Severance is a difficult one and has been since her first appearance in Season 1. Her mysterious role as Ms. Casey being linked with twists and turns requires it's performer to make an impression attitude wise while their role as written is linked primarily with revealing itself through the series mystery box style of story telling. Lachman's performance is at it's greatest and is sure to go down as some of the strongest acting of the season in the series standalone seventh episode "Chikhai Bardo".

This episode revolved fully round Lachman's performance and having made her presence standout in every moment before rose to a higher height with this standout episode filling in the clues of her true characters identity being so stellar as the episode cut quickly between many emotional moments in her character Gemma's life. Lachman's face is so expressive and used so effectively throughout there simply was no another choice I could've made in this category this past television year.
