This is the first win and nomination for Lenore Zann.

Lenore Zann has been voicing the character of Rogue for a very long time so her return in this most recent season was so special and something that I enjoyed so much about the series. She provided great voice work as Rogue especially in the stand out fifth episode "Remember It" where she had such an impactful arc to play. Whether it was her flirtatious ways or devastating Gambit death reaction it was a marvellous voice performance by Zann.

This is the first win and second nomination for the Lady Gaga. She was previously nominated as a producer for Lady Gaga Presents: The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden (2011).

While a end of year inclusion to this television season the filmed concert of Gaga's Chromatica tour fully captured the live event and presented it in such a satisfying way to those like myself who did not attend the tour live. It's always a pleasure to be reminded of Gaga as a live musical vocalists and performer, no one is doing it like her.

This is the first win and second nomination for David Oyelowo. He was previously nominated individually for Nightingale (2015). He wins for his performance as Holston Becker on Silo.

Similar to Guest Actress it's hard for me not to choose anyone but one of the stars of the first two episodes of AppleTV+'s Silo. Oyelowo got two episodes to showcase his brilliance unlike Jones and like only David is capable of doing he was magnificent. Delivering a fully emotional performance as he did was so brilliant to behold and made the series much more watchable from the very beginning.

This is the second win and sixth nomination for Rashida Jones. She previously won as part of the ensemble of Parks and Recreation (2011) She was previously nominated individually for The Office (2007) and with the ensemble of Parks and Recreation (2010, 2012-13).

Silo like many AppleTV+ shows are series that it takes a weeks of convincing for me to check the series out. The streaming service releases so many series a year which is why I can't keep track of them. Now that I've said that once I watched the Sci-Fi series I instantly fell in love. Rashida Jones was one of the central reasons I fell head over heels in love with the series. Her brilliant work in the series pilot episode was so astonishing to behold and a different side of Rashida as an actor I've not gotten to see before. For those unsure whether to watch this show I would say watch the first episode and if you are not sold then do not continue with the rest of the series.

This is the first win and nomination for Robert Elswit.

Robert Elswit has been an accomplished film cinematographer for nearly half a century now and while he has rarely dipped into television his photography work on Ripley is worthy enough of asking the man do television more as he has shown he can film something as majestically as he does on film. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the entire Ripley series I can admit it was beautiful to behold with each passing episode. If only the series writing had matched its production elements I might've been the series biggest fan.

Another category another not so difficult choice of a winner for Shôgun. I mean just look at the material, the series is one of the greatest produced series that I've seen in my lifetime. Given how long it took to produce Shôgun was such a fantastic television event.
