This is the first win for Derek Hough of a first nomination for his choreography on Dancing With the Stars.
As a frequet fan of DWTS I was glad to see Derek Hough finally come back to some great choreography especially during the 16th season where he had Kellie Pickler as a partner who was almost near the standard of a professional dancer that he was able to take even more risks and that paid off in their freestyle dance which was one of the most emotional and beautiful dances ever done on the show and if it’s the last dance Hough is to choreograph on the show if he leaves at least he went out on a high of a truly great dance.
