Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan "Dunk" the Tall for (“The Hedge Knight”) in "A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS"
Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine for (“Episode 1”) in "THE NIGHT MANAGER"

Morgan Spector as George Russell for (“Marriage Is a Gamble”) in “THE GILDED AGE”
Anthony Starr as John / Homelander for (“Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite”) in "THE BOYS"
Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch for (“9:00 P.M.”) in "THE PITT"
AND THE WINNER IS:
MARK RUFFALO AS TOM BRANDIS FOR ("CROSSINGS") IN "TASK"
This is the first win and second nomination for Mark Ruffalo. He was previously nominated for The Normal Heart (2014). He wins for his performance as Tom Brandis on Task.
Mark Ruffalo has been jumping between television and film quite frequently in the past decade since starring in The Normal Heart (the last movie I nominated him for) so witnessing him in Task the latest HBO drama series was a great reminder for me why I first fell in love with Ruffalo through his film work. Ruffalo is always best for me when he gets to play things cool and calm which he does well throughout this first thrilling season.
It's exciting Task and Ruffalo will be returning for a second season as Ruffalo was so emotional in the season when he needed to be and confident when the scene called for it. Ruffalo especially in the season finale was sensational where his characters emotional apology to those who've hurt him was such a thrilling moment and perfect example of Ruffalo's excellence.
