Jessica Chastain (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them, Interstellar, A Most Violent Year)

Willem Dafoe (The Fault in Our Stars, The Grand Budapest Hotel, John Wick, A Most Wanted Man, Nymphomaniac: Volume II)

Scarlett Johansson (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Chef, Lucy, Under the Skin)

Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Only Lovers Left Alive, Snowpiercer, The Zero Theorem)

Mia Wasikowska (The Double, Only Lovers Left Alive, Tracks)

AND THE WINNER IS:

SCARLETT JOHANSSON (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, CHEF, LUCY, UNDER THE SKIN)

Scarlett Johansson in the last couple of year’s has been making a comeback as an actress as she grows with her work this year she is really showing her power on screen. In Chef she is rarely featured doing the film moreso as a favour to her Iron Man 2 director Favrou but even though playing a small role is never forgettable. In Lucy Johansson shows her great presence on screen able to make this wild and wacky story worth watching because of her playing the role of Lucy in the film. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier Johansson plays Black Widow for the third time on screen probably giving the best portrayel of Black Widow yet able to make her equal super soldier Cap, Johansson in the film is just a ass kicking taking no names heroine and really makes the role work wonders. In Under the Skin Johansson takes on her most challenging role for director Jonathan Glazer playing an alien who must seduce men for their bodies and while some of the story is pretty sci-fi the performance given by Johansson feels so lived in and real. Johansson really is the performer of the year playing of these four roles really surprisingly.
