This is the second win and fourth nomination for Rose Byrne. She previously won individually for Spy (2015). She was also nominated iwith the ensemble of Bridesmaids (1996) and Spy (2015). She wins for her performance as Linda in If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.
The critical acclaim and eventual Oscar nomination for Rose Byrne this year has been such a pleasing experience for me having been such a life long fan of Byrne with her many great performances over the past two decades. With If I Had Legs I'd Kick You she easily has delivered the Leading Actress performance of the year. Whether she delivers the great comedy or drama it is an expert comedy only capable of being given by Rose Byrne.
