THE TALE OF PRINCESS KAGUYA (DIRECTED BY ISAO TAKAHATA)

This is the first win and nomination for Isao Takahata.

From Studio Ghibli The Tale of Princess Kaguya is my winning choice for the year’s best animated feature film. It should be always be said that while we live in an age of 3D animation that whenever a 2D animated film is as great as this one is it deserves to be said how much more impacting 2D animation will always be. The story is quite fascinating of how riches never always makes those who achieve it happy and with the title Princess Kaguya experiencing this hr story is deeply satisfying and brilliant to watch.
