AND THE WINNER IS:
MAX RICHTER FOR ("THE NEW NAME"), MY BRILLIANT FRIEND
This is the third win and fifth nomination for Max Richter. He previously won for scoring The Leftovers (2015, 2017). He was also nominated for The Leftovers (2016) and My Brilliant Friend (2019).
Richter is one of the better composers currently working in entertainment yet his work is constantly overlooked. I admire his work greatly which is why I've awarded him basically ever other year for his work. I'll likely continue to reward him multiple times if his work continues to be as strong as it is.
