This is the first win/second nomination for Scott Millan, third win/fifth nomination for Greg P. Russell & first win/nomination for Stuart Wilson. They have for collaborating on the sound mix for Skyfall.
Greg P. Russell is one of the better sound mixers working today and while his skills are usually used in summer blockbusters he took his talent to the latest bond movie. It was some explosive work that was used well for a great film and allowed the sound mixers to do a lot of work throughout the many points in London with quick editing throughout made Skyfall an achievement in a lot of areas including it’s sound mixing.
