THE LEFTOVERS
This is the second consecutive win and third nomination for The Leftovers.
And finally it comes down to The Leftovers. The show forced to depart from the book in season 2 blossomed into the all time show. It's third season had high expectations and it blew them away. The show felt like a force of nature this season as we saw all these characters lives come together in the great outback. Each episode was stunning and singular from one another made for some compelling television. I don't want to imagine tv without The Leftovers airing but sadly I've got to come to that sad fact now that I've awarded the show for the final time. Lindelof is forgiven of all his film sins for his work on this series.
The Leftovers received five awards and thirteen nominations. The show won drama series, actress, writing, music composition and makeup. It was also nominated for drama ensemble, actor, supporting actor, supporting actress, guest actress, directing, editing and cinematography.
