Larry Owens as Zach for (“Desking”) in “ABBOTT ELEMENTARY”
Alexander Skårsgaard as himself for (“Tarrare”) in “ATLANTA”

AND THE WINNER IS:

JAMES CAVERLY AS THEO DIMAS FOR ("THE BOY FROM 6B") IN "ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING"

This is the first win and nomination for James Caverly. He wins for his performance as Theo Dimas on Only Murders in the Building

When thinking of which man I was going to award in this category I had to think about what performance was most standout and most unlike any other nominee he was competing against. So in the end that actor ended up being James Caverly who plays the deaf son of Nathan Lane's broadway producer Teddy Dimas (and co-nominee). Caverly was great in every episode but made an especially strong impression in the episode I've chosen to highlight him for. This episode is almost completely silent and relies heavy on Caverly to deliver forward momentum though most expression and thankfully James is such an expressive performer that he takes you comfortably through the episode. I was so caught off guard by the talent of Caverly as a performer that his wonderful work led to be awarding none other than him in this category.
