This is the first win for the writing staff of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on their fourth nomination.
Many people have grown to hate The Daily Show for how many times it is awarded with awards but this television season was a changing one where I grew to like the show ever more as Jon and his team handled so much issues which made for a very enjoyable time watching the show as the writing was the best it has been in years.
