This is the second win and nomination for the series The Comeback.  The producers Dan Bucatinsky, Erin Mitchell & Hans van Doornewaard each earn their second win and nomination previously winning for producing The Comeback (2006), Amy Harris earns her third win previously winning for producing Sex and the City (2004) and The Comeback (2006), Lisa Kudrow earns her fifth win previously winning for The Comeback (2006, 2015), producing The Comeback (2006) and with the ensemble of Friends (2002), John Riggi earns his fourth win previous winning for producting The Comeback (2006) and 30 Rock (2007, 2009) and Michael Patrick King earns his fifth win previously winning for producting Sex and the City (2004) & The Comeback (2006), directing Sex and the City (2002) & The Comeback (2006). I like many was wathering out the mouth for the return of The Comeback having been a gigantic fan of the first season and after finishing the long overdue second season I was not disappointed. This second season of the HBO was just as great if not better then the first season where each win and loss Valerie had in making of this show was so great that I wished more people watch it because this is some of the best comedy ever and is sadly underseen compared to most HBO comedies. It features the greatest work by Kudrow and while the show is such a great comedy it nails those beats as well as the more emotional moments where we came to care about Valerie who if played by someone else would be the most unlikeable person ever but between Kudrow and the writers work it just works so brillantly. The Comeback ends it’s fun in my awards this year with 2 wins (Series, Leading Actress) and 1 more nomination (Directing).
