In conclusion for me awarding tv shows from this past season I had no other choice but to reward Mad Men the drama series prize. Sure there was that terrible second episode but just about every other episode had moments I would rank amoung the best of the series with a string of episodes up until and concluding the finale was maybe just about the most consistent set of episodes the show has ever produced. Now being at least four months out from the finale of the show I can safely say that Mad Men is the greatest tv show of all time in my opinion and rewarding the show the fourth time seems just right espeiclally for these final seven episodes which was the most emotional devestation I’ve had to an ending of a show ever even through all the happy moments which become rarer as the season wrapped up. Similar to how I rewarded the end of Breaking Bad so much with the conclusion of Mad Men now it feels we are about to transition into a different era of television which is quite surprising but for all time I will revist this great show and love all it’s brillance. In it’s final season Mad Men takes home a total of five awards (Series, Leading Actor, Writing, Art Direction, Costume Design) from fifteen nominations (Ensemble, Leading Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress (2), Guest Actress, Cinematography, Film Editing, Hairstyling).

Over the eight years Mad Men aired on AMC the show racked up a total of 121 nominations winning a total of 33 awards.

Goodbye Mad Men you will be missed.
