This is the first win and second nomination for the ensemble (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Sufe Bradshaw, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole, Sam Richardson, Phil Reeves, Sarah Sutherland, Hugh Laurie) of Veep.
In a tv landscape where there are an incresingly amount of large television ensembles it’s quite exciting to have a competitive list of great television ensembles especially in comedy a genre that relies on casts especially to create comedic situations. Four seasons into it’s run more then ever the ensemble nature of the show as Selina who has been the front and center presence was able to greatly go fit into this ensemble which got bigger and better things to do with nearly every member of the cast having their moment to shine and create this very strong ensemble. From actors like Ann Chlumsky and Kevin Dunn who have been great but got bigger things to do from the new actors like Hugh Laurie who easily fi into the ensemble. Easily the best comedic ensemble on television Veep wins this award.
