OUTSTANDING LEADING ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES

Steve Buscemi as Pete for ("Episode 6") in "HORACE AND PETE"
Scoot MacNairy as Gordon Clark for ("Limbo") in "HALT AND CATCH FIRE"
Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter Philip Jennings for ("Antipasto") in "HANNIBAL"
Matthew Rhys as Philip Jennings, for ("Glanders") in "THE AMERICANS
Justin Theroux as Kevin Garvey for ("Internation Assassin") in "THE LEFTOVERS"
Aden Young as Daniel Holden for ("The Source") in "RECTIFY"

AND THE WINNER IS:

ADEN YOUNG AS DANIEL HOLDENFOR ("THE SOURCE") IN "RECTIFY"

This is the first win and third nomination for Aden Young. He was previously nominated for individual acting and along with the ensemble of Rectify (2015).

Aden Young for the entire run of Rectify has been delivering what I consider to the be the most complex and game changing performance on television. Young in the role of Daniel Holden has to do so much acting through silence and restrain that unlike other television performances male or female the work is about what he doesn't show rather than what he does. Young plays this role as such a mysterious figure that while we still 3 seasons in are not sure whether he committed a crime and we still love the guys goes to show the great skill of Young. With one season left for Rectify it's sad that after one more season no longer will I get to watch Young play this role so convincing.
