AND THE WINNER IS:
DONALD GLOVER AS EARNEST “EARN” MARKS FOR (“NORTH OF THE BORDER”) IN “ATLANTA”
This is the first win and sixth nomination for Donald Glover. He was previously nominated for acting and directing Atlanta (2018). He was also nominated alongside the ensemble of Community (2010-2012).
Donald Glover is really dominating all industries and his work on Atlanta is something to marvel at. While his performance is not traditionally comedic it's a great example of the changing of what we consider to be comedy. Each episode we are not sure what we are getting but when Glover is the lead he is great delivering this lived in work.
