AND THE WINNER IS:

WIDOWS (VIOLA DAVIS, MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ, ELIZABETH DEBICKI, CYNTHIA ERIVO, COLIN FARRELL, BRIAN TYREE HENRY, DANIEL KALUUYA, JACKI WEAVER, CARRIE COON, ROBERT DUVALL, LIAM NEESON, LUKAS HAAS)

How Widows was ultimately ignored all of 2018’s awards season will hurt me to no end for years to come. It’s a stunning film achievement and I’m sure will be better appreciated decades from now. The entire ensemble of the film is on fire (excluding Duvall who was the only one questionably off), from the performers in just a few scenes like Jacki Weaver to actors who are heavly featured throughout the entire film like Viola Davis. The film making appreciates the work of actors and how they act off one another. I love so much of this film and the work of all the actors in the film is primary reason why I loved it.
