27th "An Irish Person" FILM Awards RECAP!!

2022 was an interesting year for film because the spread of great films this year considered great by and myself and of course the academy was more spread throughout the 12 month calendar year. This year I managed to recognise 52 films with at least one nomination. Obviously Everything Everywhere All at Once scored over ten nominations but when it comes to the rest of my nominees the wealth was much more spread and that is because there was a lot to appreciate about films in many different departments. My top 10 goes to show how varied the really great films were this year.

1. Everything Everywhere All At Once

2. Aftersun

3. The Woman King

4. Happening

5. TÁR

6. Great Freedom

7. Neptune Frost

8. Good Luck to You, Leo Grande

9. Marcel the Shell with Shoes On

10. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed

To all of you who even took time to read any of these posts I appreciate it. Goodbye to you all and I'll see you again next year to celebrate the best in film.
