Mark Heyman, Andres Heinz & John McLaughlin for Black Swan

Barbara Alberti, Ivan Cotroneo, Walter Fasano & Luca Guadagnino for I Am Love

Christopher Nolan for Inception

Lisa Cholodenko & Stuart Blumberg for The Kids Are All Right

Park Eun-kyo & Boon Jong-ho for Mother

AND THE WINNER:

CHRISTOPHER NOLAN FOR INCEPTION

This is the third win and fifth nomination for Christopher Nolan. He previously won for writing Memento (2001) & directing The Dark Knight (2008). He was also nominated for producing & writing The Dark Knight.

Inception whether you enjoy or not you must admit is one of the most original and thought provoking blockbusters to be released in such a long time. Nolan really used his clout built from The Batman franchise to make a film as high action fun and interesting as any major film maker could ever hope to make. It's the scenes and narrative of the film as written that make the screenplay so impressive. Nolan really has made a script which should last for years to come.
