These are the first wins and nominations for Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert.
I mean what's more original that a multiverse family comedic drama? The answer is nothing and truly everything about this films screenplay. It can't have been easy to initially start the process of creating this film because there is so much story to tell and balancing the multiple universes could not have been easy but the writing of these two writers was so confident and assured that everything about the films screenplay worked for me.
The screenplay managing to keep the family relationship central while everything else around them was moving so fiercely was really impressive because you come out of the film caring for how this family relates to one another. I just adore this screenplay and the work by the Daniels.
