This is the first win for Uzo Aduba on her first nomination for her work on Orange is the New Black.

From the casting of Orange is the New Black is the cast put in place and one of the breakout stars was Uzo Aduba playing Suzanne Warren a.k.a. Crazy Eyes. When we first are introduced to Crazy Eyes from the point of Piper we are meant to fear her however the more we learn of the character and see her away from Piper the character becomes such a delightful character and Uzo plays the role so well she wins the award for guest actress in a comedy series for this ultimately new and exciting character to see on tv.
