This is the first win for the hairstyling team of The Americans on their first nomination.

The Americans in the first season while a great show did not pay great detail to some of the production elements of the show which is why in this second season is great to see how much of an improvement that was paid towards the show. In the second season the hairstyling of the show was much more improved as it is a pivital part of the show where the central characters are in different identities and the hair is important and I felt the styling made the characters look quite different. The team of The Americans improved this season which is why they win this award.
