Last Year’s Winner: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler for 70th Golden Globe Awards
This is the first win for Kate McKinnon on her second nomination for her on Saturday Night Live.
Ever since the turn of the milluneum Saturday Night Live has been dominated by women and Kate McKinnon follows in a long line of great women who ruled the show. McKinnon started on the show just as Kristen Wiig left and the next season everything around McKinnon just was standout to me and she became the best cast member. In the 39th season where there were many problemes and changes McKinnon was one of the people who made the season watchable and because of this and her consistent performances she wins this award.
