OUTSTANDING GUEST ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES

James Cromwell as Ewan Roy for ("I Went to Market") in "SUCCESSION"
Clark Jackson as Mr. Richards for ("Pilot") in "POSE"
Michael McKean as Charles Lindbergh "Chuck" McGill, Jr. for ("PiƱata") in "BETTER CALL SAUL"
Christopher Meloni as Dick Ford for ("The Fever") in "POSE"
Dermot Mulroney as Anthony for ("Optics") in "HOMECOMING"
Jeremy Allen White as Shrier for ("Optics") in "HOMECOMING"

AND THE WINNER IS:

JEREMY ALLEN WHITE AS SHRIER FOR ("OPTICS") IN "HOMECOMING"

This is the first win and fifth nomination for Jeremy Allen White. He was previously nominated for Shameless (2014) & with the ensemble of Shameless (2014-2015, 2017).

Now that we can firmly say Homecoming was overlooked by the Emmy's, one of the strongest elements of this underrated streaming series was Jeremy Allen White. Already familiar with both his skill for comedy and drama I was so happy to see him be even greater in a small featured role in the beginning episodes of the first season. He played well off lead Stephan James and shone a lot during his multiple breakdown moments as he's character struggled with his life. Most who watch this series and have never seen Shameless really get a great introduction to his talent and prehaps will go and seek out the latter series which has been on television for nearly a decade now.
