This is the first win and nomination for Kristin Scott Thomas.
Wow! just Wow. Here begins me sharing my love of Fleabag season 2 (expect a lot more awarding of this show). Thomas when announced to be on the show was such exciting casting I'd have taken her in any amount of time. Thankfully she was heavily featured (even if for one episode) and she did not disappoint. The above scene is the shining moment for Kristin and how effortlessly she plays opposite Waller-Bridge. Everything said by Belinda in this episode speaks volumes and in casting an actress of Thomas' caliber it amounts to a spectacular performance and a spectacular episode of television.
