OUTSTANDING MUSIC COMPOSITION FOR A SERIES, MINISERIES OR MOVIE

Ramin Djawadi for (“The Long Night”), Game of Thrones
The Newton Brothers for (“Steven Sees a Ghost”), The Haunting of Hill House
Max Richter for ("The Dolls”), My Brilliant Friend
Jeff Richmond & Giancarlo Vulcano for (“Kimmy Says Bye!”), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!
Kris Bowers for (“Part 2”), When They See Us

AND THE WINNER IS:

RAMIN DJAWADI FOR ("THE LONG NIGHT"), GAME OF THRONES

This is the third win and fourth nomination for Ramin Djawadi. He previously won for scoring Game of Thrones (2016) and for the main titles theme music of Game of Thrones (2011). He was also nominated for scoring Game of Thrones (2018).

Another day another great musical score by Djawadi. The music of Game of Thrones is basically as iconic as the show is. Each new track and remixed piece of score provides some familiarity to the show and makes the narrative as effective as it can be.
