AND THE WINNER IS:

PETER SARSGAARD AS RAY STEWARD FOR ("SIX MINUTES") IN "THE KILLING"

Last Year’s Winner: Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut for (“Say My Name”) in “BREAKING BAD”

This is the first win for Peter Sarsgaard on his first nomination for his work on The Killing.

Peter Sarsgaard has made a long career out of playing creepy and scary characters in many films and when coming to The Killing it could have been suspected for him to play a truly horrifying villian but that was not the case to this performance. Sarsgaard played all the hard ship and true sadness of a man on death row in such a way where we feel such warmth and sympathey towards the character even in some of his darkess moments. Sarsgaard in his final episode gives a truly hearbreaking performance as we still feel for him and all the credit goes to Peter Sarsgaard for giving such a magnificent performance.
