This is the first win for Matt Bomer on his second nomination for his work in The Normal Heart.


In the play and film The Normal Heart the character that you feel most for of the many emotionally effecting characters is Felix Turner who is played by Matt Bomer. When first meeting Bomer he brings he is so carasmatic that you cannot help but connect with the performance. This inital meeting helps to form the relationship with the character and when the tradegy of the character happens because of the AIDS virus and Bomer’s performance grows that even after he leaves the screen you remember him most of any actor. Matt Bomer wins this award for the great heart of the character in the film.
