OUTSTANDING MALE ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE

Kyle Chandler as Harge Aird in “CAROL”

Emory Cohen as Anthony “Tony” Fiorello in “BROOKLYN”

Patrick Fugit as Rich in “QUEEN OF EARTH”

Oscar Isaac as Nathan in “EX MACHINA”

Jason Statham as Rick Ford in “SPY”

AND THE WINNER IS:

OSCAR ISAAC AS NATHAN IN “EX MACHINA”

This is the first win and second individual acting nomination for Oscar Isaac. He was previously nomination individually for Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) and A Most Violent Year (2014).

Oscar Isaac continues he’s incredible roll of towering performances with his work as Nathan in the 2015 indie sci-fi feature Ex Machina. The loose control Isaac has on the roll proves his great talent as an actor. Playing a truly villianess man can be difficult to make likeable but Isaac is winning in the role and charming to boot. The dance scene alone proves how wonderful he is but that along with the rest of his work throughout the feature is just wonderful and if it wasn’t already obvious that Isaac is one of our best work actors just watch Ex Machina to see him in high form.
