This is the first win and nomination for Lesley Vanderwalt, Elka Wardega & Damian Martin for their work on Mad Max: Fury Road.
The insane motor chase world of Mad Max: Fury Road at this point is just too much to talk about how just genius it is. The work of these designers was just one of the many production sides that made the film as special as it was. The character designs required no explanation just as much as the world did. All the way boys had their own unique looks, Imperator Furiosa with her war paint our main villain Immortan Joe all looked so different from one another but because of the great job of these designers made each of their looks blend together in only the best ways.
