Cate Blanchett as Phyllis Schlafly in “MRS. AMERICA”
Kaitlyn Dever as Marie Adler in “UNBELIEVABLE”
Daisy Edgar-Jones as Marianne Sheridan in “NORMAL PEOPLE”
Shira Haas as Esther "Esty" Shapiro in “UNORTHODOX”
Zoe Kazan as Elizabeth "Bess" Levin in “THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA”
Regina King as Angela Abar / Sister Night in “WATCHMEN”

AND THE WINNER IS:

CATE BLANCHETT AS PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY IN "MRS. AMERICA"

This is the second win and nomination for Cate Blanchett. She previously won for a voiceover performance on Family Guy (2012).

The joy I felt each week watching Cate Blanchett on Mrs. America was mostly overwhelming. It's a towering performance that managed to shock and surprise each week with how incredible she was. I was not surprised how great she was because Blanchett is one of my favourite actors currently working but I even have to admit that some places she went while playing Phyllis were like nothing I've ever seen from her. It's such a titanic performance that will with a strong list of women from limited series and TV movies Blanchett had to be my choice.
