OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES

Dyllón Burnside as Ricky Wintour for ("What Would Candy Do?") in "POSE"
Tony Dalton as Lalo Salamanca for ("“Bad Choice Road") in "BETTER CALL SAUL"
Delroy Lindo as Adrian Boseman for ("The Gang Gets a Call from HR") in "THE GOOD FIGHT"
Matthew Mcfayden as Tom Wambsgans for ("Vaulter") in "SUCCESSION"
Josh O'Connor as Charles, Prince of Wales for ("Tywsog Cymru") in "THE CROWN"
Tom Pelphrey as Ben Davis for ("BFF") in "OZARK"

AND THE WINNER IS:

TOM PELPHREY AS BEN DAVIS FOR ("BFF") IN "OZARK"

This is the first win and nomination for Tom Pelphrey.

I had avoided watching Ozark for it's first two seasons as I'd heard such a mixed reception and it didn't sound too pleasing a show to sit and watch. Then when I heard rumblings about the latest season and how great it supposedly was I bite the bullet and binged it in it's entirety. The first two seasons did have their moments of mediocrity but for the majority the third season was spectacular. Pelphrey as Ben was one of the main reasons this latest season was as great as it was. The downfall of Ben was especially devastating due to Pelphrey and how committed he was to his role. The above scene of his standout with Helen is one example of how explosive Tom was as Ben. I'm glad now to have watched the show because I would have missed out on a lot of great season of television from this past year.
