MIKE FAIST (WEST SIDE STORY)
Russ Tamblyn was one of the truly great aspects of the 61 adaptation of West Side Story and taking over the part of Riff was gonna be difficult for any performer. Throw in this being Faists screen debut and expectations where high and thankfully Faist played his role expertly. His Riff was confident, caring and most importantly charismatic throughout. Faist managed to play both the strength and weakness of this character and really make you care for him throughout the film. This really was an impressive performance and based on how watchable he was as Riff I hope for great roles to come for Mike.
