"BE ALIVE", KING RICHARD (MUSIC AND LYRICS BY DIXSON & BEYONCÉ KNOWLES-CARTER)
These are the first wins for Dixson & Beyoncé. Knowles-Carter was previously nominated alongside the ensemble of Dreamgirls (2006).
Admitedly the original song contenders from the year 2021 wasn't as strong as it has been quite recently but still I managed to award "Be Alive" a very worthy song my top prize. The song's place in the film comes in an ending montage which explains all that the Williams sisters went onto achieve in their later lifes which we all knew was impressive. The song showcases Beyoncê's great skills as a singing performer but also as a songwriter evident by her major involvement in the song. If this song ends up winning Knowles-Carter a major prize at the end of this week then I certainly will be nothing but happy.
