AND THE WINNER IS:

SONYA TAYEH FOR ("GAME ON"), SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

 This is the first win for Sonya Tayeh on her first nomination for her work on So You Think You Can Dance.

The reason I introduced the choreography award is because of the great dance that has increasing in the amount nowadays which is why the nominees come from three different shows. Sonya Tayeh is such a strong and powerful choreographer which is why the dances she creates are so memorable and with her standout work this season of So You Think You Can Dance she wins the choreography award. Her great creation this season was Game On danced by the final two Melanie and Sasha and showed all of Sonya’s style to a t. Tayeh is the first choreography win and I cannot wait to see what dance wins next.
