 Last Year’s Winner: Margo Martindale as Mags Bennett for (“Brother’s Keeper”) in “JUSTIFIED”

This is the first win for Christina Hendricks on her third nomination for her work on Mad Men.

Joan Harris from the pilot till the fifth season of Mad Men has only improved and grown as a character and in this past season the dramatic work done for the Joan character was great and allowed Christina Hendricks to do some of her best series work for the show. The character now having a baby added growth to the character and while she let her bad husband go earlier in the season the character made the choice of career over respect and this took place in the episode “The Other Women”. Hendricks is silent and strong throughout the episode and owns the screen and wins this award for her work done especially this season of Mad Men
