This is the second win for Claire Danes on her second nomination for her work on Homeland.

Carrie Mathison in the first moments of Homeland season 1 is presented as a knowledgable and confident women while on her mission and throughout the season she keeps most of her stregth until the end where she makes the choice in fixing her life through electricity and this complex arc was well played by Claire Danes. In the episode The Vest we are invested in the more diseased side of Carrie’s personality were she struggles with her biopolar disease and Danes is able to make every moment of her craziness work which is why in this performance she has bested in herself in creating this magnificent performance in Homeland Season 1.
