Last Year’s Winner: Edgar Ramirez as Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, aka ‘Carlos’ in “CARLOS”

This is the first win for Benedict Cumberbatch on his second nomination for his work on Sherlock.

Sherlock was a surprise hit in it’s first season and once the first episode of the second season aired it was clear nothing of the original season had been lost especially in the performance by Cumberbatch which has only grown in confidence. Cumberbatch is one of the best actors to ever have protrayed Sherlock Holmes and in this second season he was so good that he had to win this acting award.
