This is the first win for Chris Messina on his first nomination for his work on Damages.

After getting cancelled on FX Damages was brought back to life by many other shows by DirecTV for a fourth season. Like most seasons of the show one of the most exciting parts is seeing the new characters to join the Patty/Ellen duo and this season while there were bigger names like John Goodman it was the least known Chis Messina who stole the show and wins this award. In his first episode we learn much about this character as he is a troubled ex war victim and we see him struggle with living in real life and Messina plays this role so well he wins this award.
