Last Year’s Winner: Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel for (“Duets”) in “GLEE”

This is the first win for Max Greenfield on his first nomination for his work on New Girl.

New Girl the new FOX show was meant to be a vehcile for Zooey Deschanel and while she is great on the show the best in show for the season was Max Greenfield as Schmidt. Each and every episode he grew and got better as the writers embraced the character and how crazy he can be. In the episode Control not only do we get the outlandish Schmidt but also another side of the character and Greenfield plays each sides of the character so well and all season long he was great as the character which is why he wins this award.
