This is the first win for Louise Fletcher on her second nomination for her work on Shameless.

Shameless the remake of the long standing british series had a great premire season and an even better second season were the drama of the show become even darker closer to the end of the season and along with the great regular cast came one of the best guest starring roles of the year which was oscar winner Louise Fletcher joining the show as the tough and sickining mother of Frank Gallagher. Just joining the show she fit so well into the show it was perfect casting and in each of her episodes she was a great comedic relief but underneath the character was the darker tones as we saw this women going through such hard times of hardship.
