Dylan Baker as Jerry Boorman for (“The War Will Go On Forever”) in “DAMAGES”

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister for (“Blackwater”) in “GAME OF THRONES”

Giancarlo Esposito as Gustavo ‘Gus’ Fring for (“Hermanos”) in “BREAKING BAD”

Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson for (“Blind Spot”) in “HOMELAND”

Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman for (“End Times”) in “BREAKING BAD”

Michael Pitt as James “Jimmy” Darmody for (“Under God’s Power She Flourishes”) in “BOARDWALK EMPIRE”

AND THE WINNER IS:

GIANCARLO ESPOSITO AS GUSTAVO "GUS" FRING FOR ("HERMANOS") IN "BREAKING BAD"

Last Year’s Winner: John Slattery as Roger Sterling for (Hands and Knees”) in “MAD MEN”

This is the first win for Giancarlo Esposito on his first nomination for his work on Breaking Bad.

This fourth season of the AMC show Breaking Bad was for me all about the rivalry of Gus and Walt and while Walt won in the end the character Gus acted by Giancarlo Esposito became one of the greatest villians we will ever see on our television screens. In every scene with not saying much Gus is one of the most spine chilling characters created as he strikes fear in so many. In the episode Hermanos in particular there is a heartbreaking flashback all in spanish where we see a once hopeful Gus you watches his partner die and this side of Gus is equally played well by Esposito. The loss of Gus will be great as her terrorised us for nearly three seasons and Esposito will always be remembered in this role.
