OUTSTANDING GUEST ACTRESS IN A COMEDY SERIES

Patricia Clarkson as Tammy One for (“Ron and Tammys”) in “PARKS AND RECREATION”

Dot Marie Jones as Shannon Beiste for (“Props”) in “GLEE”

Chloe Grace Moretz as Kaylie Hooper for (“Standards and Practices”) in “30 R0CK”

Megan Mullally as Shayne Mund for (“Hey Jealousy”) in “UP ALL NIGHT”

Cynthia Nixon as Rebecca for (“A Little Death”) in “THE BIG C”

Joan Rivers as Herself for (“Joan”) in “LOUIE”

AND THE WINNER IS:

DOT MARIE JONES AS SHANNON BEISTE FOR ("PROPS") IN "GLEE"

Last Year’s Winner: Gwyneth Paltrow as Holly Holiday for (“The Substitute”) in “GLEE”

This is the first win for Dot Marie Jones on her first nomination for her work on Glee.

After her surprise emmy nomination last year for Glee Dot Marie Jones playing Coach Beiste was given an even greater arc that while not being called to be the comedic of performances and more towards the drama that the show does well was proving week after week that Jones is quite a talented actress. In the episode Props we see Jones play the typical abused women who somehow ends up back with her abuser but the difference is finally she leaves him and this scene Jones is magnificent and follows in line with past Glee guest stars Kristen Chenoweth and Gwyneth Paltrow in winning this certain award.
