This is the first win for Julia Louis-Dreyfus on her seventh nomination for her work on Veep.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus since the start of the 90’s has been one of the best comedic actresses on tv and with this role of Selina Meyer she has hit and even greater high in terms of comedy. Playing the Vice President always will be comedic but Dreyfus just owns this role that it is no question she is marvelous in the role and especially in the season finale were we see some great comedic crying were we see an emotional side to the character even though it is meant for political reasons.
