Skip MacDonald for (“Face Off”), Breaking Bad

Oral Norrie Ottey for (“Blackwater”), Game of Thrones

Jordan Goldman & David Latham for (“Pilot”), Homeland

Louis C.K. for (“Subway/Pamela”), Louie

Christopher Gay for (“Far Away Places”), Mad Men

AND THE WINNER IS:

SKIP MACDONALD FOR ("FACE OFF"), BREAKING BAD

Last Year’s Winner: Sidney Wolinsky for (“Boarwalk Empire”), Boardwalk Empire

This is the second win for Skip MacDonald on his second nomination for his work on Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad does just as well with it’s editing as it does with it’s editing and in the season 4 finale Face Off we got to see some great tricks of editing. From the destruction of the lab which took place to a great song to the downfall of Gus which took place mostly in silence only to come into sound once the explosion occurs. The editing down by this great editor was worth the watch up until the final moment
